A surprising number of the North West morris teams at the time of Victoria's Jubilee were children's teams. Clogs were only worn by some of the teams. Maybe a third at a guess. I think the adults were more likely to wear them. It's quite interesting to look at old photos. (that's why I don't call it clog morris myself, even though most modern teams wear clogs)
