Itunes problem

Is it possible to go back to an earlier version of Itunes?

I made the mistake of updating it recently and now it no longer works in the way I need.

It used to automatically copy my ratings from the ipod to the computer and it doesn't do this any more.

Basically, I have a small ipod, not large enough to hold all my music, and Itunes no longer caters for this.

I'm perfectly happy with my small Ipod - it's compatible with my portable speaker which is very important to me.  I just need to be able to find my favourite music easily.

I've just had a furtle through my iTunes setup and I don't think it is possible.

Have you contacted Apple:

It may be worth seeing if something in the settings has changed.

Try googling 'reverting to earlier version of iTunes'. There's a bunch of forums discussing this so maybe one of them has an answer for you.

It's a common problem with all software. I've a list of various programs I wish hadn't been fiddled with. Some are so improved that I can't use them, and some are so far advanced that they won't work on my perfectly decent computer.
