Conversation around my grand daughter Oswin yesterday in the hospital, discussing why premature babies need to be wrapped so well to keep warm and need far more layers than other people in a warm room.
One member of family says "Surface area to volume ratio." Rest of family instantly say, "Of course" in knowledgeable tones. Nurse looks a bit blank.
Me: "We're a geek family."
