Dear Author has just posted a useful review of the Kindle Touch, which amongst other things mentioned that this Kindle has moved from "most recently opened books at the top" to alphabetical order, with no user choice. It also continues the Kindle tradition of no memory card slot, which is the *other* reason I personally am put off Kindle. (The big reason is the DRM, now also in conjunction with Amazon unilaterally declaring that *Amazon* gets to make unlimited copies to hand out to its friends^Wcustomers without compensation to the authors, even though Amazon insists on putting DRM on books the publishers didn't ask to have DRMed.)
