Petition for Financial Education

If you're British, please take a look at this petition, and if you agree with it, sign it.

It's asking for financial education - how to understand credit card agreements, bank statements, how to handle debt (and ideally avoid it), etc - to be part of the national curriculum.

To me, this makes basic sense for two reasons. One, because children need this information to survive in the modern world. Two, because it's maths that is directly relevant to their lives and this means they're more likely to be interested in learning it.
