Teaching and toothache

I've discovered that teaching is like Tarot reading for me. It makes me focus totally on one person and while I'm focusing that way way, I can cut out pains like neck ache or toothache.

I've just done an hour of algebra without a twinge of pain - and my pupil says he's starting to enjoy algebra!

The whole of the filling has come out now, the dentist has cleaned it out and put me on anti-biotics to try and make the ache go away. This is partly precautionary as I'm off to visit [livejournal.com profile] predatrix tomorrow and as the dentist says, better to have the anti-biotics now than to discover for certain that I need them while I'm away from home.

The ache isn't too bad right now, but I'm find I'm spending most of my time reading books as moving about a lot seems to set it off.
