Maybourne/Carter
I am not alone! I have just discovered that there are other people out there who think that pairing Sam Carter with Harry Maybourne is a perfectly sensible thing to do.

When I pair Sam and Jack, I always see it as a relationship that is as much a close working relationship as anything else. They are friends as well as being in love. If I get them into bed (which I'll only write in a story where they are no longer both in SG-1 as I do feel they won't break regs) then it's likely to be pretty vanilla.
Sam and Harry, on the other hand... There's different kinds of sparks there. She isn't afraid of him and is quite prepared to give as good as she gets. I think Harry enjoys that. Heck, I'm sure he does. I think he likes the idea of being dominated by her.
All I need to do is to find ways of giving him the opportunity. (I got stuck on a story last year, and I'm going to give it another try - well, as soon as I stop spending all my spare time on LJ...)
