I've just been trying the latest cliques meme. (I can't cut and paste on this machine, but if anyone wants to find it, I gacked it from [Unknown site tag])

It found two cliques that didn't surprise me:
Pinkdormouse, snowgrouse, astrogirl2, spacefall, watervole, quarryquest - that's the B7 fans

the_magician, scarlatti, whotheheckami, dougs, watervole and yonmei - a slightly harder to define group although they do belong together in my mind, with the exception of Yonmei whom I originally knew through B7 fandom.

The clique that it missed is: lonemagpie, steverogerson, sugoll, the_magician, thecountzero, cobrabay, watervole - but then some of us haven't been on LJ very long and while some have taken to the medium, others don't actually have friends lists, so the software can't spot them. I think we're all members of redemption_con though.

I was a member of eight cliques of size five, and they all overlapped

Unless you have hundreds on your f'list, it might be worth clicking recompute without caching -- this substantially improved my results, and took considerably less than a minute.
