They're good too. Eat the pods and all while the pods are still young. That's the best way. Do you own a bean slicer? (basically a small cheap gadget that allows you to feed the bean in one end and have it come out sliced at the other) Handy to slice them before steaming them or whatever cooking method you prefer.

And the flowers are pretty too.
