I get the distinct feeling that I'm supposed to be able to read LJ via Dreamwidth. It's kindly imported all my filters, and lists all my friends on LJ, but I can't read the filters.
Is this a feature that is supposed to be coming in the future?

Yes, I understand they plan to implement it later.
On the Manage Filters page it says:
You can edit your filters on this page. Dreamwidth will be providing two types of filters: Access Filters, which are used for setting security on items, and Reading Filters, which are used for filtering your Reading Page. Right now you can only edit your Access Filters. Reading Filters aren't supported yet. This page requires JavaScript to work.
