This throat infection has taken my voice totally.

I'm gong to be unable to speak on the phone for a couple of days at minimum and possibly quite a bit longer.

When my voice goes badly, it can go for quite a long time.  (those who knew me back in my early days in fandom will remember the conventions where my conversations were almost entirely restricted to writing in notebooks)

Resting the voice is the only thing that will help.

Conversations are in clanger-whistles at present...

Hope you feel better soon - you no longer have a Red committee you have to chivvy along as chair -and they are pretty talkative lot of beggers this time roun d ( Smurf and I were on the phone for ages last night discussingt eh budget) so we can happily have a silent mascot.:-)

Looks like the copyright holders chase them a lot. Many of the clips turn out to be missing.
