Oh dear, I'm sorry. That's frustrating, when your interest in doing the job properly (which the school should be thrilled about!) could risk leaving you with extra pain because of doing things that you shouldn't really have to do.

I don't suppose the school has a system of prefects or 'monitors' - pupils whose responsibility it could be to make sure that things are cleared away??
