The birds are back again
I've been missing my garden birds for most of the summer. The seed feeders have hung there untouched and the garden has felt really empty. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
temeres (who knows far more about birds than I do) said that they'd probably return w
hen the hot dry weather ended, and he was right.
The last few days have been a big change. I actually had to refill one of the feeders (when they were being used heavily last year, I was refilling them every few days) and the peanut feeder is being used after being ignored for six mont
hs (which is when we put it up).
We've got blue tits and great tits and sparrows (seven so far) and the starlings are back and a robin and I can even put up with the pidgeon.
Dish washing is so much more interesting when I can watch the birds while I work.
