Mother's day isn't exactly a big event in our household. I don't measure love in terms of boxes of chocolates - but I do like my family to keep in touch. Kelvin was working all day yesterday, so I didn't expect him to come round today (especially as I wasn't sure if I'd be over the flu), but it's always good to hear from him and I hope to see him in the next week or so.

Let's see if exalted_mugwump remembers...

I know my family, I don't rely on their memory, I drop very heavy hints (like this one!)

Henry, it's mother's day, it's Sunday, I'm in all day and phone calls are cheaper at weekends and besides, there's Messenger which is free...
