Brownie Point for Barclays
I phoned Barclays as I was intending to move the Redemption account to them to make it easier for me to pay in cheques at my local post office.
I mentioned to the lady on the phone my reason for moving from Nat West and she said she wasn't certain that I could pay in cheques for a club account at the Post Office. She went away and checked and said that I couldn't (basically, it's becasue they do these accounts for free as they're for charities, but the Post Office want paying for accepting cheques).
So, they probably won't get the account, but they get a Brownie Point for telling me about the problem in advance
