Art auction for wildlife
Would you like to own an original artwork by Damien Hirst, Tracey Emin or perhaps by your
favourite star of TV, film or sport? Would you also like to help Dorset?s wildlife? A fantastic
opportunity has arisen to obtain one-off signed works of art, at reasonable prices, from some of the
UK?s best known celebrities and artists.
So far nearly one hundred celebrities have provided Dorset Wildlife Trust with drawings and
paintings of butterflies and moths which will be used to help raise funds to protect the county?s
wildlife. These include oil paintings from comedy actor Ricky Gervais and musician Chris Rea,
and drawings from artists Damien Hirst and Tracey Emin. Other contributors include Sarah
Ferguson, the Duchess of York, the new James Bond, Daniel Craig and tennis star Andy
Murray, to name but a few.
Over the next few months Dorset Wildlife Trust will auction the works of art on eBay, starting this
Sunday 10 December at 7 pm. The items will be sold a few at a time and each auction will last for a
week. As items are sold new ones will be added. These can be viewed from the start time at:
