Rudyard Kipling

It's wonderful to be able to share something you love.

The national curriculum for KS2 English says children should be exposed to both current and classic children's literature, so I got my current pupil to read from one of the modern books she has (which look like a good selection of Jacqueline Wilson and others) and then crossed my fingers and tried one of the Just So Stories: 'The Cat that Walked by Himself'. She loved it - so much so that she's borrowed the book to read more of them!
