Being shallow

There is a gentle pleasure in being shallow. I was down the gym this afternoon when David Bellamy came on screen. Now, I like the guy anyway as a populariser of botany and as a man who gets seriously involved in the Wildlife Trusts, but the reason I actually got so much fun out of watching is because he looks a lot like Gareth Thomas...

Gareth in the 'Blake' vintage does little for me, but add twenty years and for some reason there is a gentle drool factor. Probably because I got into Blake's 7 fandom late and that's the age I got to know him at.

I love Gareth at any age, really:). He just gets better with age, more and more cuddlier, it seems. PD's probably never been cuddly (as in warm and hugging people lots). And I thought *Blake's* voice was sexy, but comparing it to GT *now*... whoah. *fans self*
