Lemon Tree closes
Been an odd kind of day today. One of my favourite shops, the Lemon Tree in Poole, is closing down. I've bought all sorts of stuff there over the years: wind chimes, mobiles, ethnic style clothing, Tarot cards, jewellery, etc. In recent years, the emphasis shifted away from the stuff I really like and more towards Goth gear and 'magic', but I still used to go in there whenever I was in town.
I went in deliberately to catch the last few days of the closing down sale. I picked up some very cheap relaxation CDs and a Tarot deck that I wouldn't have bought at full price.

scarlatti that I'd bought there. I couldn't bring myself to buy it, but I got another one in the same range.
On another topic entirely,exalted_mugwump is getting some practical education in DIY during his summer holidays. He's painting woodwork outside the house. When that's done, I have lots of other jobs waiting!
